More bouldering success!

The Scottish Youth Bouldering championships took place at The Climbing Academy in Glasgow on Saturday. Both of our talent team climbers, Stephen and Emma, were there. Although the Scottish champions were decided on the day the best young boulderers from across the UK were all in action making it a tough field. After qualifying rounds in the morning the top six finalists from each category went through to the finals. Despite moving up an age group Stephen qualified in 4th place and managed to move up one spot further during the finals to take third place and the final step on the podium (he also placed 2nd in Scotland). Emma only missed out on the finals by one place but still put in a great performance. The good weather during the week saw a break from indoor training to enjoy a spot of bouldering along the Aberdeenshire coast.
