Snow, Swimming and Silliness

The students have been away from Ardgour yet again this week having a nice visit to Ardeonaig. They had an early start on Monday morning but were rewarded by the beautiful snowy views as they drove over Glen Coe.

Whilst at Ardeonaig they have been enjoying (maybe) another taste of assessments - with their FSRT (Foundation Safety and Rescue Training) taking place on Monday, followed by their Level 1 Coaching Paddlesports training and assessment running the rest of the week. It will have been a cold week for them as they practiced rescues (meaning they are out of their boats and swimming in the river on purpose!). They still seem to have found time in the evenings for some silliness though!

While they have been away the staff have been making the most of the quiet to get on with some maintenance jobs...

...and to enjoy some yummy food in peace! (We celebrated Thanksgiving last night with our lovely American staff member Amy)

We have missed having the students around though and are looking forwards to them being back this weekend before we head away to Team Conference at Nethybridge. It should be a great week!
